i finally finally watch Initial D. HEH!! like how finally lah. Cos km finally tell me dat our timing clash and she decided to go watch with her own friends yday and play me out lah. And so, i dragged my sister and my mum to watch it with me. Hehs! but nvm. the show is nice! its simply nice! hahah!! everything abt the show is nice. But the part when Jay is crying.. like lil boy crying liddat. haha~ but other parts are fine.. its quite funny lah~ Heh~ feel like watching it again.. but WAR OF THE WORLDS is out. HEH! I'm so gg to watch it man! Its not becos of Tom Cruise dat madman, but bcos of the show k. HEh HEh! Ok.. i shall be off so zzz. tml IS at 9am. But i'll go in late. whaha~

i din go sch today cos my throat is swollen :x and its so pain and i keep coughing and coughing. so conclusion is... i din go sch lohx. haha!

went to see doc.. its dat magaret ng. she's nice and stuff. i like her.. but was wondering why is it not dr lee. haha~ but its expensive can. it cost me like $42 and i nearly fainted when i heard the nurse told me its $42.

ok.. so alicia, yinhoon and i went to the shops to get the accessories. And Alicia, told us its near funan and den we walk and walk, walk and walk and u noe where is it? its like near jazz @southbridge. Hmm! Dats like Clark Quay. OmG! I was screaming my head off as i was walking. Lolx~ But yeah.. spent around like $240+ at 1 shop. There are simply too much stuff and yeah.. decided to get a lil of each.

A carrot, an egg and a cup of coffee...

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil.

In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.

Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you see?"

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?" Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity ... boiling water. Each reacted differently.

The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.

The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength? Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a break-up, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart? Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavour. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

HAHA! But thank God, i dun usually pig out like this. jie jie drank cafe latte and gerald ate pasta+coffee blended.

Went YMCA for bs jus now and it was relatively good. Had adrian, changyan and xuan with me. hee.. and i was sharing my book with adrian and xuan was sharing his with changyan.. cos both of them insist to use the old edition of the VL book.. but yeah.. the content inside totally change lah. haha! even the cover page change lah. Hee.. so after that, walked to the train station with xuan cos bro ken was not there yet.. and yeah.. i hafta rush home though.

took train home and see some funny things. there's this mother with 4 daughters. So apparently the mother was sitting down.. den the 4 daughters were standing up and apparently, blocking the way *roll eyes* so.. she keep asking the daughters to sit down whenever there is someone getting down. hAha~ and this uncle have to budge his butt down and sit DOWN. whahaha!!! its so funny lah. And then, when the daughter was like making a call, the mother jus bent over to take a look and the daughter was like giving her the WHAT U WANT look. haha! its duper funny. i was like trying hard not to luff.

anyway.. liying was telling her worst date. hAhah!! There is this guy.. he is an insurance agent and yeah.. brought her to a date. And guess where he brought her to? To eat teochew porriage and she even paid for it cos he walked away to buy drinks. Haha! And the best thing was, he did not even bother to pay her back. *ROLL* HAha!! I was like DUMBFOUNDED lah. If i were her, i'll jus demand the $$ back and walk away. HAha!! Cheapo Guy. Hope next time my date wun be like dat.. or else i will kick the guy to africa. HAhah!

i din go school today. i'm sick. sore throat with fever. But the fever kinda went down.. cos i took panadol in the morning b4 i went back to zzz. hehs. msg wj dat i'll be gg to sch.. for PROJS and for fmgt tutorial. hmmm.. but yeah.. i went for tuition jus now.. so poor thing lah.. sick still have to go.. hehs.. earn $$ mah.. *sigh*

But as we reach there, we were horrified by the crowd and yeah.. we walked on and decided to eat in the resturant call.. BEIJING LA-MIAN. Its a nice place actually. Hee.. and weizhen came around 8plus when we had started eating. Hee.. tink the la-mian there is comparable to the crystal jade one? I dunno.. i am not dat amazed by la-mian yeah? lolx! I had the beef la-mian and its so-so.

Ok.. so the best part was dat we forced weizhen to wear into the tank top and mini skirt. haha!! I had the pic in my phone.. and i tink its worth $100billion. Hehs! I CAN USE THAT TO BLACKMAIL WEIZEHEN. WHAhahAhah!! But i tink she looks nice in it lah.. hee.. we took lotsa pics and stuff.. but i shall upload it soon. went to buy a skirt with km today! And after much choosing and trying, i finally decide on the brownish skirt... hee ( : den went to shop around lah.. and bot a hair clip. anyway~ went to sch to have cma lessons today. Yeah! its CMA lessons cos we had tutorial and lecture on the same day. So, i went to sch and i entered the wrong classroom lah! its supposed to be at #04-06 but i went #03-06.. and apparently, the tutor also made a mistake and he was also in the room lah! yeah yeah~ so he was asking me why no air-con.. i mean how would i noe? So.. he told me he's gg up to tell the person to on the air con lah. Den i waited and waited, and finally, i gave wanjing a call and realised i was at the wrong classroom. Hmmx! hahah! So paiseh lah~ den the tutor came in and yeah.. told me its at lvl 4 -_- *yada yada* but nothing much happen in tutorial lah.. it was boring lah! and yeah.. went thru some crappy tutorial and off we go.

had 2hrs break and yeah.. went canteen 2 to meet vern.. but i was on the phone with km lah.. so by the time we hanged up, i dunno where vern go liaox. So we ate there, and was surfing the net and dunno why, the freaking npnet haf to d/c itself and yeah.. dunno wad happen also. Maybe too many pple using liaox? *tinkzz*

So, we had CMA lecture at 3pm *zzz* and its dat qian bian face lecturer again. hahah! but i was ok lah~ but yeah.. her notes is very challenging one.. cos the space provided are small and she expects us to write like tiny ants *roll eyes* nvm.. but she's funny. hahah~ anyway~ alicia is like so crazy over this K person. hahah~ yeah~ and we keep bumping into him today. lolx! tink she's mad lah~ but yeah~ he looks cute lah~ hahah~
