freako lingo rock!: 07/01/2006

ah! today marks the end of my PROJECT DAYS! *LAUGHS* alright. nearly. cos still have wisp report. MUAHAHA! =D

aiyar.. cos today we handed in our HPM project mah.. thankew lawrence for the hard work he had put in. HAHA. cos he stayed up the entire nite to compile and the end results was fabulous! :p

But anyway.. we did peer evaluation for this proj lah.. haha* cos the freerider* is in my group. Hmm.. i gave her a "E" grade loh.. cos i feel dat she doesn't actually deserve any marks at all! But to give her credit for taking the effort to go to WIKIPEDIA and search and copy and paste the whole chunk to the report, i gave her a E rather den a F. I'm so kind rite? =|

I jus feel dat if u wan to get marks, jus show us the effort u had put in loh. U can't expect everyone to put up with this kind of irritating behaviour everytime and buying ur oh-so-fake stories. I mean, even if it is real, i really can't be bothered lah. Everyone has their own share of problems. It jus depends on how u handle it lor.

enuff said.

okays. we got back our integrated proj grades for DT and yup... got 75% lah. Not too bad. One of the highest overall for the overseas proj cos the rest got 60%++ like dat. But the tutor was jus been very irritating. He said our report was too long so he only gave us 3/5 for the format and length? But my report was only 1700++ words and the requirements stated that 2000 words (+ -). Hai! I tired to fight for more marks but he just REFUSED to give me lah! =(

**jus got news that hpm was quite bad and err.. atm part rite.. mr kenneth tham is marking. omg. tis time sure chams.

Yesterday's service is great! Its special weekend with pastor mike connell. my goodness! He's jus amazing lah! He preached the part on Deliverance and we had special ministry service after the main service. We went for it and it was just too good to be missed! Definitely one of the best meetings. I was prayed for.. puked.. cried.. and after dat, i jus feel so good. Although inside feel quite empty lah.. but it was good.

hah. it jus struck me that exams is coming and not much time is left before it starts. Errr. this means my driving is coming too!! OH GOD!

Had CEM class presentation yday and it went well. Although there's some typo mistakes and some questions shot by April Ng and Elaine Cheng, but yeah.. tink they are quite impressed with our theme lor. Results of the 'bid' will be out on Monday!!! HAHAH*

anyway! had bbq with my cg yday and yeah.. it was quite fun lah. Though it was raining and we were having indoor bbq, everyone was having fun.. right? =D

ah! I forgot wad I wan to blog abt already. I shall come back with a post later.. IF i rmb wad i wan to blog. HAHA.

IS today is pretty OK.. last lesson for WISP and i will miss ms chua su san? =D She's a very good tutor lah.. always trying to make the class fun. I mean, try teaching WORLD ISSUES with things like WAR, Globalisation and stuff like that.. i tink u will jus go crazy! =x Still have this 500 word report due lah.. but well. no more class next week!! *yipee*

CSC was a bore lah. But oh wells, we had mock interview. HAH! So it was quite alright.

ANYWAY. i proceeded to my driving lesson after dat and when my lesson ended, it was still raining very heavily.. so first instinct is to TAKE A CAB HOME!

Please. If u see silver cab with this car plate or if it is not, JUST DUN TAKE IT LAH! They are all big time cheater oKay! ok.. maybe i'm jus being BIASED but come on! The below scenario is gg to make u agree with me lor.

Ok.. when u are on the cab rite, its like.. the meter jump every 10-12seconds. On the paper, it clearly write that the meter will jump by 10cent every 210m when its less den 10km or every 175km after 10km. I mean, the cab is travelling at a VERY SLOW speed on PIE and I'm very sure, within the 10-12secs, it wldn't have cover 210m in this short span of time. U noe, its like a blink of ur eyes and it increases by 10cent?

I noe the price of cab jus increase lor.. subcharge also increase to $2 during peak hour. I'm totally fine with it. But come on lah! Every 10-12 sec increase by 10cent is really too much lor.

And also, when u are at the traffic light, it stated dat every 25sec den will increase by 10cent. But NO LOR. THE DAMN meter jus increase by 10cent EVERY 10-12sec OK?

IT's CLEARLY CHEATING CUSTOMER'S MONEY!

If the STUPID TAXI UNCLE cheats every customer $1, 10 customer he will cheat $10! Its not that i'm stingy or what, but i really feel UNJUST by this matter!

How can they just tamper with their METER and try charging the customer MORE? THIS IS TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From Jurong West St 91 to Clementi AVe 6, i jus pay at most $8++ but today, from BBDC TO CLEMENTI AVE 6, i took $8.60? And I din alight at my house, i alighted opp my house bus stop cos i was really ANGRY ok.

Went for the S2006 Customer Service Training for the upcoming IMF meeting at 8.30am today. Oh dear! What a way to start off ur SATURDAY liddat! =( Woke up very early and I reached around 8.10am. Hur* I tot i was super early but hmm.. when i reach the place, i saw the LONG LONG LONG QUEUE and i was thinking "heng ah!" =x

The class was fun actually.. with the instructor trying to make the class fun by telling us his own experiences of the types of services he had received. HAHA!

He was telling us dat in 1996, he was in Hong Kong. SO he wanted to buy a pair of black socks and he went into the shop. The guy told him dat is US$5 and he was like.. "WAH! SO EXPENSIVE! CAN GIVE DISCOUNT?" So the guy said OK, gave him a 50% discount and he handed my instructor the socks. When my instructor went back and to his horror, he only had 1 sock. HAHAH! Cos its errr 50% =|

anyway, we had tis role play near the end of the lesson. HAH! And my role? Act as a 'dumb blond' and err.. ask f0r HELP. anyway.. my group pple are very nice. Consist of Benjamin and Valerie from NUS, Wan Ling from RP and Jocelyn from NP. The scenario goes like tis:

me : (looking flustered)
benjamin : Good afternoon M'dm, u look flustered and PINK. What can I do for you?
me : oh! U see, I was taking a afternoon nap jus now and i had a nitemare! And and and... i dreamt that my husband was having an affair with another woman!!!!! SO i need to GET TO SUNTEC CITY now to look for my HUSBAND!!!
benjamin : oh dear! M'dm, i can understand how you feel cos i had a similar nitemare 2 weeks ago! Why not i help u call a cab?
me: oh! sure!! PLEASE!!!

benjamin: M'dm, the cab will reach in 3min and in the meantime, i will show you how to the waiting area.
me: are u sure it will reach in 3min time?
benjamin: YES MDM
*walks me to the 'lobby'
benjamin : m'dm, i tink the nitemare is due to the pillow dat u are slping on. I will get the housekeeping to change a pillow for you late.
me: ok, thanks!
*gets onto the cab
benjamin: have a nice day!

see! my reputation is TARNISHED because now eveyone will tink i'm a dumb blond =x HAHAH!! NAH! Not so serious lah! But i tink our role play is the BEST among all the groups!

so for sacrifing my reputation for the role play, i got the cerfiticate!!!

haha! yay!! 1 more bonus for my RESUME!!! =D

on another note, i'm very impressed by NUS guys. HAHA. dunno why. They just give me a better impression over the ntu ones. partly becos they are more like... taking initiative and ntu guys are quieter and nearly to non-existence =x

I woke up super late for WISP lesson today!

Lesson was supposed to be 10am and genius me woke up at 9.43am. I got a shock of my life when i saw the time on my handphone. Apparently, the snooze button on my handphone was not pressed so it din BUZZ at all since 8.30am =X So very quickly, i rushed out of the house and took a cab. I tink cab uncle noe i'm late so he drove VERY FAST and recklessly -.- In the end, i reached at 10.10am. HAHAH!! Tink can go into Guiness World Record liao...

HAH! Just came back from Raffles Hotel cos i went FINE DINING with Esther and Cheryl. Oh MAn! The food at Raffles Courtyard is really nice man! Simply amazing by the artpieces done by the chef there!!! HAH! We din order the food but they actually jus design and come up with the dishes on their own. So its new creation, not on the menu kind. HAH!

The new creation cocktail from RCY. HAHA! It tasted like vanilla. HAi! Raymond, the manager also dunno wads the name lah! ahha!

But its happening cos errr.. after taking medication for 2 days, it seems to be getting worse than before. God HEAL ME! I dun wan to fall sick!!!! =(

also, HI TAMMY! I FINALLY SEE U IN SCHOOL! :D

Stayed up till 3am++ to do up reports and actually i wanted to watch France vs Portugal match but yuppers, i fell aslp at the 15th min. HAHA! All i can rmb is dat, dear FIGO nearly got a goal! But France WON! 1-0!!!! HAHAH! Zidane kicked in a penalty. Read from the newspaper dat actually Portugal could had a penalty but the referee decided to ignore Christiano Ronaldo. HAHA. Serve him rite! Cos they say he keep faking to fall down to earn a penalty but din succeed. Luck doesn't always go his way yeah.

I miss the times when i did project with xinxin, wanjing & dear clifford. NOW, proj jus sucks without them! Freeriders, backstabbers and wadever u can find. HAI! U will need to have some strategy to fight off these parasites. HAHA.

my parents & sister took leave on monday to send me off =D

Day 2:

Dim Sum breakfast at some restuarant.

this uni is very big man! Everywhere is aircon!! Food at the canteen is yummlicious! lucky hongkonger.
